I have had a visit from Joanna this week and she carried out her check on my progress with professional understanding and common touch after my stroke last March. i did tell her a joke but she did'nt get it mainly because she did not expect to be told jokes, Clearly a very nice person with a human touch.
I would like to take this opportunity to complain about my treatment I received at A&E Queens Med last August. I can well appreciate the pressure this department is under however I was horrendous to say the least. Without going into details my reaction was surely it does not have to be this way. I had suffered a stroke seen the adverts on the tv re strokes only to be treated with delay and indifference. I repeat surely it does no have to be this way!
However in March I was transferred to the City and there I was treated very well indeed in every way and concluded that these nurse were indeed angels and very understanding and caring and the food was good I even wanted to contribute in some way in appreciation of the treatment i received.
I repeat it surely does not have to be this way!
