"Would prefer to travel than go there"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Left waiting over an hour waiting for nurse to arrive from clinic. Non trained staff need more bedside manner verging on rude. Hospital in general was not clean. Car parking too expensive and total joke in regard to disabled parking. Expecting some one who cant walk far having to walk to reception to get duscount is unacceptable and I feel hospital needs reporting to disability groups.

Had no choice in being sent to Lincoln county. Would prefer to travel than go there.

I am so sorry to read about your experience and clearly they fall below the standards that we expect from all of our staff.

We are so sorry and acknowledge there have been real difficulties in the implementation of our new car parking systems. Every penny put into the machines for car parking is retained by the Trust and used to cover the cost of providing car parking and security at its hospitals.

We’re already working with Parking Eye about installing some additional payment kiosks, enabling more areas to issue the parking barcode for patients with blue badges and we’ve already started to install better lighting and canopies around some of the payment kiosks.

Please be assured that we have taken on board the feedback and have been working hard to fix the issues.

I hope in time you will see the changes in place
