I had a really great experience giving birth at the Borders General Hospital last week. The midwife Lesley that looked after us was brilliant she was incredibly supportive and took our birthing preferences (hypnobirthing) into account throughout labour and until we went home. We have also had great support throughout my pregnancy and in the last week from our community midwife, Tansy.
