I spent a week in Ward C33 following throat surgery. Staff were great; considerate, courteous and helpful. The ward was immaculate with 5 beds and only full on one night. The consultant

surgeon was totally professional, kept me updated and popped in to see me in addition to his normal rounds. More importantly he sorted my problem. The speech therapist was excellent also, although I only saw him twice - he only took 2 visits to sort my problem out.

All appointments were on time so avoided undue waiting.
