"Pleased with the treatment but not the mix up"

About: Rochdale Infirmary

What I liked

I was told what was going to happen so I could prepare for a tube to be inserted up my nose and into my stomach.

What could be improved

I was initialy told to stop my medication. 7days before my appointment, when I arrived the doctor told me I would have to come back in a fortnight to have the tube inserted into my stomach for 24 hours as they needed to see the results with me still taking the medication.which was another long journey to the hospital.

We are sorry to hear that you had received conflicting information about when to stop your medication, which resulted in a second trip to the hospital. We will forward the comments to the gastroenterology team to make them aware of this problem.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback.
