"Team OSSH is the best!"

At the end of October I was admitted to this tiny hospital for L4/L5 spinal fusion as I was in loads of constant pain from stenosis plus the vertebrae were unstable, putting me at at risk of cauda equina syndrome, when I could have become doubly incontinent - mmmmm not much option except surgery then!

The surgeon had seen me only 5 weeks previously - yes, that's all the time it took even though I was an NHS referral - and explained everything to me. Even though I was so well informed I was hugely anxious.

However my surgeon, the anaesthetist, the lady physio and ALL the team were fantastic, very reassuring, nothing was too much trouble and the standard of caring was amazing.

Thanks to my surgeons wonderful surgery (this gentleman is gifted) I am well on the road to recovery. Massive thanks to everybody. I asked to go to OSSH because a friend had received such excellent treatment from my surgeon - pass it on, I certainly do!
