I attended Barlborough on 27/12/18 for a total right knee replacement, I had had good reports about the center, this was my main reason for choosing it, On arrival I was greeted by a friendly night porter (6am), then collected by one of the night staff off the ward, I went down for surgery at 9:30 and out by 11:15, I seem to have had some sort of reaction to the medication, so for the rest of the day I could not keep anything down, I was overwhelmed by the care I got from all the staff. After a slight restless night I was fine the next day up walking about and doing physio exercises. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent and plenty of choice. Third day up and washed myself, more physio and cleared for discharge. I cannot give enough praise the care and attention I received whilst at Barlborough.
