"outpatient treatment"

I have recently visited the eye hospital ,treated as an outpatient, where I was given laser treatment,all done and finished within 1/ 1/4 hours.very efficient and courteous.I'm feeling very happy right now. I had my first eye surgery(l/h cataract) done over a year ago but after 4 months it started to get foggy.I was re-referred by the optician and so waited for a new appointment,which came in December after a cancellation in November,so this is the only downside to my experience, the long wait
