"Excellent care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cancer Services (Medical Oncology)

(as a relative),

Attending Ward 310 as a relative today and it was going like a fair. Waiting room full all treatment chairs busy and people very unwell. The staff are still smiling taking time to deliver excellent care for everyone keeping everyone in the loop of what is happening. Even got their senior nurse in helping 😄. This is how the NHS is surviving.

Dear Chmm,

Thank you very much for your kind comments. Friday was an exceptionally busy day in ward 310 with many more patients receiving treatment than usual due to catching up following the Christmas PH. Good team work from the staff in both oncology and haematology enabled everyone to be treated that day.

I will pass on your feedback to them.

Best wishes to you and your relative over the New Year period.

Kind regards,
