What I liked
My mother has had a fear of hospitals for many years, going so far as to refuse routine examinations if she needed to visit the hospital. However, on this occasion she had no choice, as she was admitted to the cardiac unit as an emergency. The treatment she received was second to none and was very well cared for during her time there. Everyone put her and the family at ease and I'm sure this assisted in her speedy recovery.
Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were all very friendly and kind, not only to her but to all the other patients in their care.
What could be improved
I honestly can't think of anything that could have been improved - the only comment my mother makes is that she personally found the portion sizes too large, but she certainly enjoyed the meals.
Anything else?
Our recent visit to the Croydon University Hospital has certainly improved our opinion of the old "Mayday" hospital and we would certainly not be concerned should we need to make any visits in the future.
"Excellent treatment provided by friendly,..."
