As an ms sufferer, with no teplapse for over 4 years. Last night I was given the news of optic neuritis which can leave you with permenant vision loss. Big shock to the system. May I just praise all of the staff in the royal eye department they didn't only do an amazing just they even went the extra mile. Deputy sister and her staff. So kind caring and full of empathy. Regarding the bad press in recent times. I feel they came on the wrong day and with our population growing you just can't keep up with capacity. You only have one pair of hands. You are human not robots. That's what people forget these days and for people not answering the telephone. What you have to remember is while they are on the phone to everyone who is giving care and treatment. Sorry for the rant at the end. Maybe waiting times would reduce if time wasn't taken up. Xx
