"No respect or dignity for cancer patients!..."

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

I am extremely appauled by the vile service myself and my mother had revived from the Victoria init at royal Oldham yesterday.

Having visiting the breast unit ten years ago when my mother was initially diagnosed with breast cancer and cared for with dignity, and returning again when the cancer and returned and being treated with utter disrespect was an absolute shock!!

There is no empathy, no respect and just no excuse as to the rudeness of the staff in this unit!.. cancer nurse go under vast training and a lot of money in injecting into the NHS into teaching these so called nurse how to treat patients with respect and empathy well we now know how taxes go to waste!!

If you are waiting to be diagnosed with cancer/suffering with cancer or awaiting results avoid Oldham like a plague. Ask to go to Bolton or north Manchester instead where you will be treated like humans and there is structure and organisation and not just dummies. I ask work for the NHS I am pretty much aware of all protocols, policies and how things should be prioritised.

A patient who has been referred as an urgent high risk patient with an emergency appointment on the same day should not be palmed off to go off on holiday and come back again after 2 months time when they are crying in pain and agony and have discharge from their nipple NURSE! PCT can you please confirm these are your guidelines?... waiting to hear for your response. Thank you.
