We are about to enjoy our first Christmas for about 10 years following years of serious ill health for my wife Lynda. There are so many to thank from the team in the oncology day unit and consultant. The Consultant and the Hepatology team, especially the specialist nurse.
Last but not least all the staff on C5 who have been brilliant with Lyn having been admitted several times over the years. Everyone has been brilliant. My reason for leaving this review is the care given by all of the above whilst My wife was awaiting a liver donor so as a transplant could take place. In the end it was touch and go but it happened earlier this year and she has not looked back since, thanks to all of the above and many others during her years of illness for the exceptional care given at the QA.
I would like to wish them all a merry Christmas as I know some will be working as we have attended the day unit over Christmas some years. Lyn will enjoy her first Christmas for years thanks to everyone at the QA including those back room staff whom we will never meet.
Lastly my thanks to orthopaedic as following cancellation during my illness Lyn is at last going to get a new Knee. She saw the pre op nurse on Wednesday who was wonderful and kind as was the anaesthetist and Consultant. Both our thanks and we hope you all have a wonderful Christmas xxx
