My 81 year old gran was admitted to A&E around the 11th of November after having bad swelling in her thumb which had become sore and was getting worse. On arrival to a&e she was seen promptly and diagnosed with a blood infection. The team got her the antibiotics and care required and my gran being the independent woman she is, was delighted when they offered her the option to go home later with further follow up from the hospital at home team. She had nothing but positive things to say about the A&E staff and I’m very greatful for you taking such good care of her.
