About: Basildon University Hospital

What I liked

My daughter was brought in as emergency case for stomach pains, she was moved from A&E to the childrens ward and eventually surgery with utmost repsect and compassion, surgery team were honest and realistic and incredibly efficient, tough decisions were made with us as parents informed at all times. Recuperation in ward was attentive and us parents were involved and encouraged with helping our child. Nurses on childrens ward extremely caring, even porters brought smiles to a very sick childs face.

What could be improved

individual rooms for each chid but thats just a fanatsy til more nurses and investment in infrastructure occur.
