"Parking charges"

I have nothing but admiration for the treatment received at Mexborough and the speed in which one can be seen.

However, on visiting for physio during the last two or three weeks, I have found that the parking charges are exhorbitant.

Although there was a rise from 70p to £1.60 an hour all in one go, I have no objection to paying this, but to be charged £2.90 for an hour and a minute is totally unfair.

One only has to be in a queue at the machine, with the person in front of you unsure what to do, to find oneself immediately over the limit.

This has happened to me twice now and I am not happy, apart from the fact that I then had to go to my car for more money which then delayed the person behind me and made him have to pay more.

Two machines might solve the problem or, better still, set it so that there is a five minute allowance to allow for such delays as I have described.

If it can be sent to allow free parking for 10 minutes, then I see no reason why it could not be set to allow 5 minutes for unaccounted for delays.
