I tried to arrange a house call for a 68 year old lady that is on her own & suffers with Bipolar disorder, And has suspected Pneumonia & is unable to speak dew to other medical reasons. We tried to arrange a house call by phoning in & was told to go to the chemist & ask them what to take. The Pharmacist stated as they know her well They answer was to phone back to the surgery to arrange a Doctors call out. This was not possible as voice Box problem which is under going medical treatment @ the moment. I called the surgery as I have power of Authority on file @ the surgery under my name, I phone the surgery & was asked to chose an option (1) Highly trained Receptionist (2) Securities or just hold on. I choose option (2) was held on line for a short time then a computerized message said not available @ this moment, was told by the computerized message to ring back. I phoned back & choose option (1) Highly trained Receptionist. I had great difficulty to (NASWESA) I had great deal of difficulty getting her understanding the problem. I was asked to hold on 3 times while she spoke to someone about the problem even explaining the problem more then 3 times. I was told that the doctor would have to speak to the patient, I kept repeating my statement at lest 3/4 times about the patient was unable to talk. & finely got them to get the Doctor to talk to me I gave her my Mobil No and explained that was the best No to call me on as wherever I am it will divert by Wi-Fi to a land line or Car phone if I am in a car. I also gave her my home No as well, she did not understand the Wi-Fi technology. In all a very bad experience, which has been reflected in my survey "Q" answers
"House calls patient that has Bipolar disorder &..."
