"Emergency referral to ENT"

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital

Having lost my hearing overnight on my second visit to my GP they contacted the ENT team.

The consultant advised my GP to send me to the clinic immediately.

Whilst I had a long wait as had to be fitted in between the scheduled patients the majority of staff were very sympathetic and understanding to my problem.

On one occasion one of the Drs writing out what he was saying on his phone to ensure I had understood.

One of the receptionists was absolutely lovely and made sure the staff understood they would need to collect me rather than call my name. I did sadly find one of the receptions rather rude and given it is an ENT department dealing with a lot of people with hearing loss she wasnt very understanding at all.

Overall a positive experience every time I have visited.
