We would like to thank and compliment all the staff who were involved with Mom's recent admission. Ambulance staff helped with our initial enquiry. The reception staff, nursing staff and Doctor in A&E were caring and informative. Mom was a frail elderly patient with Dementia and was treated with dignity, respect and compassion.
After assessment in A&E, she was transferred promptly to AMU where staff welcomed us and we were kept informed at every stage of mom's treatment. Doctors were very patient and made sure that we fully understood Mom's condition.
We would like to thank staff on AMU for their professional approach to the difficulties they experienced with a Frail and very poorly patient. Transfer to Ward 12 was made speedily to improve Mom's and our environment and comfort. During our four day, staff made us feel welcome, making sure we were kept informed of Mom's care plan and procedures. They regularly offered drinks and support. We were contacted when Mom's condition changed.
We really appreciate all the help and support we received during this difficult time.
Thank you very much
