About: Furness General Hospital

I first visited the Gynaecology Department of Furness General Hospital as an outpatient on November 15th 2018.

I found all members of staff friendly, kind, understanding and professional.

I was then referred for scans which resulted in me needing surgery.

I visited Ward 1 to sign consent forms, then onto E.O.D where I had my Pre-Op

tests.

I was admitted to Surgical Day Unit on December 14th 2018 and had my surgery.

Throughout the whole procedure all medical staff were very reassuring, kind and considerate.

All departments communicated well and everything was well coordinated.

I am very grateful to this wonderful medical team.

Furness General Hospital and the population of the Furness area are very lucky to have such dedicated staff working within our hospital.
