Staff did not work as a team and appeared to have no leadership. Many times tablet medication was found on patients pillow and floor area. Patient is paralysed and found alone soiled with vomit, yet it was clear by sick dish and paper towels that cleaning had been abandoned, patient was found in chair with legs dangling, bare feet and no foot support , found sitting on blue sling with no blanket cover and on occasion without pyjamas bottoms sitting in chair on blue sling. Staff had placed patient in sling without respect for dignity by not having pyjama bottoms in place. Two staff have done this. Training obviously inadequate and not supervised as blue sling is not to be used for sitting on and obviously ignored by senior staff as this was constantly happening. Staff not approachable with any query regarding basic care and not forthcoming with any aspect of patient care.
