"Community Nurses and Emergency Services"

About: Bromley Healthcare / District nursing London Ambulance Service NHS Trust Princess Royal University Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I cannot speak too highly of the Bromley Health Care Community Nurses and of the Emergency Services.

Nothing is too much trouble for them;  they are all professional, friendly and highly efficient. On several occasions when they have been to attend to one aspect of my healthcare, they have found other problems and dealt with these immediately.  Were it not for these timely interventions the problems would have worsened.

Charlotte of Bromley Health Care Community Nurses deserves special mention.  She arrived for a routine visit, but, by coincidence, shortly after I started having chest pains, carried out various tests immediately, phoned my GP Surgery and the emergency services and waited with me until the emergency services arrived and for some time thereafter.  All this was done within the space of less than 30 minutes thanks to the calm and efficient manner in which Charlotte acted. On a previous occasion she found the cause of a health problem which I did not even know I had. I count myself, and all patients in the Borough of Bromley, extremely fortunate in being looked after health wise by truly dedicated nurses such as Hannah and the entire team, including bank nurses such as Marion.

I must also thank the emergency services who arrived within 15 minutes for their prompt arrival, their efficiency and thoroughness and above all their patience with me.

A special message of thanks, also, to Community Nurse Hannah, who, sadly, has left Bromley for pastures new.

Update posted by Anna2 (the patient)

Thank you Julie.

I have just realized there is a slight error- I meant to refer to Charlotte also in the last sentence of the third paragraph of my post. Apologies to Charlotte- please consider yourself included.
