I attended the walk-in-centre today as I had an extremely blocked ear which had left me almost totally deaf. I am a senior manager myself (within the NHS) and was curious to see what my experience would be like in another organisation.
I was triaged within five minutes of arrival and then given an approximate waiting time which turned out to be very accurate. The triage nurse and the nurse practitioner who syringed my ear are real assets to the centre. He in particular had an exemplary manner and was very professional in his approach, carefully taking time to explain possible risks.
I left the centre not only being able to hear (again) but extremely proud of the treatment I had received at the hands of the NHS.
My experience was first class and could not have been improved in any way. Please keep doing what you are doing.
