I had to take my daughter to A@E due to a serious back issue. Something major has gone wrong and since she is diagnosed with Hypermobility syndrome i would have thought this would be classed as a serious matter. She has suffered really bad pain most of her adult life but this issue is taking it to another level. We were sent there by the GP who said her care was above the practice and that she needed a scan and stronger medication to deal with the issue until they knew what was going on. I put my daughter in my car drove 40 mins to get to York.... They examined her causing severe pain she received no scan as MRI unit is closed at night which is ridiculous for a City Hospital and also was told they couldn't prescribe her anything stronger for the pain which seems strange since the GP sent us there for that very purpose.. 80mins in a car with severe pain no treatment scan or help my daughter has said she will never go back to York again. I have to agree with her
"Sent to hospital received no help"
