"I hope the staff on ward 102 get to read"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Respiratory Medicine Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Thoracic Surgery

(as the patient),

A few months ago I was adnmitted to ward 102 to have a lesion removed from my left lung. The surgeon who performed the surgery ( left Vat upper lobectomy) was exceptional! She was so caring, took time to explain everything too me and visited every morning and evening to check on my progress. The staff on ward 102 were great nurses! Although an exceptionally busy ward each and everyone of them took time with their patients and were very caring and kind. I hope the staff on ward 102 get to read this as its always nice to know your work is appreciated.

Dear Christmas pressie,

Thank you for taking the time to send this lovely feedback. I am pleased to hear that your experience was positive. I hope that you are continuing to recovery from your procedure. I will ensure this is fed back to the ward staff on your behalf.

Kind regards

Gordon
