"Uncaring and fail in there duty of care."

About: Stamford & Rutland Hospital

My wife who suffers seriously form claustrophobia was sent for a MRI scan and was told by the specialist that they would sedate her. On receiving the appointment she rang to make sure they knew she needed sedating, there reply i an aggressive tone we don't sedate adults.

Her specialist rang them and requested they sedate who was also told, we don't sedate adults'

The specialist said to them how about she come to PCH we can sedate her send her up to you, you do the scan then she can come back to the PCH and we can monitor her for two hours. NO we will not do that.

I find there attitude to be one of we will do what we like and the patient can go and whistle.

There legal duty of care is being ignored.

How can these people play god.

This is the second time they have refused to do what a doctor has asked of them.

It seems that they want to play god and the patient has to suffer there crass attitude.

It's about time they were given re-training informing them that the patients needs, need to be there first consideration and not run the radiology for there own convenience.
