We are very grateful to the Hospital for the care our mother, Irene, received over this last month she has been in your Hospital. The Staff are outstanding in their care and communication.
Our Mum fell and broke her hip, which at her age, 93 years, is very serious.
The surgeons did a great job, told me the clear dangers as well as giving us hope .
The Feema unit were outstanding and then her ongoing care from the amazing staff on Ward 11, led by two staff members was a real comfort to us, as we live about four hours away in Oxfordshire and my sister lives in Calgary in Canada .
Nothing was too much trouble.
Communication was always clear and sympathetic and the care was genuine.
Twice we had quality time with the Doctor in charge, which was very unexpected.
Social Services worked hard to get her returned to The Manor, which has been her home for the last seven years.
It constantly upsets me to hear our NHS criticized when our experience has proven time and again that it is a fantastic Organisation.
We are deeply grateful that she was returned to her home today.
Thank you!
"Outstanding care for my 93 year old Mother."
