What utter shambles!!!

To get to see a GP, you have to phone in the morning and explain your symptoms to the receptionist. The GP will then call you later and they will decide if you need to be seen or not.

You, therefore, have to wait all day for this phone call and not even know if you will be seen.

If this doctor is not the one you wish to see, then you have to go through this entire process again.

You cannot even pre-book an appointment!

How is an elderly or vulnerable patient, etc, expected to do all this? This surgery gives no leeway for such patients. Even they are expected to go through this ridiculous process.

When you tell the doctor that this system needs changing, they tell you to speak to the Practice Manger. When you tell the Practice Manager, they tell you to speak to the doctor. Nobody wants to take responsibility for this system.

This surgery is putting patient’s health at risk because patient’s, especially the elderly/vulnerable, will be extremely reluctant to go through such a horrendous process just to see a Doctor
