"Referred by Gp"

Arrive at A and E at kings mill hospital. The Nurse that first saw me was unfriendly,no eye contact or caring attitude. Was more concerned about where I could go as repeated,we are very busy. Was moved to ambulatory emergency care unit. Wasn't busy at all, of the 12 chairs only one occupied by a patient. Waiting there with no instruction as to what was to take place next. 2 hours later 4 more patients now in the unit. All aired their concerns about the nurses stood around chatting and being unaware of why they where there. One patient became emotional and had an outburst. A nurse and doctor dealt with the situation well. Lovely, friendly nurse handed out sandwiches and drinks to us all. This lifted the atmosphere. Was eventually seen by a doctor who seemed clueless when i asked questions about my diagnosis,answered most of the questions with I'm not sure. Left me with a lot of doubt and concerned with the overall treatment I received.
