I apologise for any grammatical mistakes, I have health problems that make things a little more complicated for me to write etc.
I have had chronic pain for over 4 years now and during that time have been referred to Ayr hospital, after waiting over 6months to a year for some appointments the treatment their after has been more that unsatisfying.
At the first negative appointment, when I walked in the doctor was still reading my notes. The doctor looked up and said to me it’s IBS, they’ve seen 6 people like me today and it’s IBS. This was before even conducting any tests.
Then I was referred to a neurologist by my GP.i has a brain scan which I have never seen and answers were well no answers and after being referred a second time by my GP to check my lover back nerves and for MS, after a lot of reluctance they agreed to do a brain scan which I have never seen. I received a letter that was extremely negative said that there was no evidence of MS saying they told me this would be the case and to not send me for more tests.
Last but not least I was in hospital for a suspected blood clot movement and I was given a cannula drip when the nurse put it in I had a really sharp pain In my arm and since then I feel like my veins are ripping and have constant pain in my fingers.
I have also been suffering from other issues, one of which I feel has worsened in my arm since I had the drip in.
I am really struggling day to day not being able to leave the house most days and in pain every day.
I went for help and feel they had no time for me. This has been worsened by the care at Ayr Hospital and I don’t know what to do.
I’m also worried about the movement in my arm not getting better, I need the use of both of my hands for my work.
