"Patient Access"

Tried to pick my sons patient access letter up , but was told he had to pick it up himself despite proof of identity ,he had made several phone calls to arrange this  but the line was always engaged,  to make matters worse the staff know me and my son , they tried to phone him at work but could not get through to him, 

I feel this discriminates against people who work food a living , as when he finishes work the surgery is closed, I think a little discretion would not go amiss
