"Ante natal care sub standard and wasting time..."

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

I am under Whipps for maternity care. So far (am 18weeks pregnant) they have lost my blood tests twice and I’ve not had a signal appt that ran to time.

Receptionists in antenatal clinic never say if anything is running late and when I’d been waiting over an hour past my appt time I asked how much longer it’d be they just shrugged at me.

I was booked to see a consultant despite me telling them I didn’t think I needed the appt as I was low risk, they insisted on me attending. When I saw the consultant (40 mins late of course) he stated I needn’t have come and sorry to have wasted my time.

A sonographer that saw me in the EGU told me I had to prove I was pregnant before she’d scan me despite a referral by my GP, she also asked whether I’d had sex?! When I provided a urine sample that proved I was indeed pregnant no apology.

Loosing faith in them and plan on switching to Homerton: had a much better experience there with my first child...
