"Good surgery"

About: Tadley Medical P'ship

Tadley Medical Practice does seem to be one of those surgeries as so many are now, where you struggle to get a routine appointment in less than a month. This does seem to be fairly standard for all GP surgeries around here though.

Despite these difficulties, they seem to answer their phones well, the receptionists are very helpful and good at triaging when things are actually important, in which case they really do help you.

Whilst waiting in reception a few months ago, I observed them for 20 minutes answering endless calls whilst simultaneously dealing with a queue of patients; despite looking like they were going to collapse of exhaustion, they dealt with every person politely and efficiently.

All the care that me and my family have received there cannot be faulted.

No matter how frustrated I get about the wait when I want to book a routine appointment, I can't blame this particular surgery for a general lack of GPs and I appreciate the professional and open way they are dealing with the problem.

Thank you for your feedback. The role of a medical receptionist has always been important but with the current lack of routine appointments and increasing patient demand it has become a lot more challenging.

Your comments and praise have been shared with the whole practice and are very much appreciated.
