"My experience at the breast clinic at Yeovil..."

I arrived at the hospital a little early for my appointment & by the time I had visited the ladies & sat in the waiting room within 5 mins I was called in by a lady who was friendly & had a lovely smile. I was then examined by a doctor who suggested I have a mammogram. I walked around the corner & within 20 minutes or so I was having my first ever mammogram. The lady doing it was very professional & said an ultrasound would also be performed. I was immediately thinking oh no im going to have to go home & wait another couple of weeks for that appointment to come through & she said no it will be performed now & u will probably receive your results today. I was stunned with mixed feelings of both fear, panic & relief. True to her word I was waiting back out in the waiting area & within 10 mins I was having an ultrasound performed on me. Thankfully I was told there & then that the results were clear.

I cannot praise all the staff enough for their professionalism at this breast clinic. Every person I encountered was professional & efficient. The service they give really is amazing, To have all the tests & results within the space of an hour really is first class. Thank you to everyone at Yeovil hospital breast clinic.
