I have never given a bad online review of NHS services in my entire life, I am 50 years old, and did work for the NHS myself for over 8 years previously, I am now employed full time elsewhere. Yes the reception staff are unhelpful, lack empathy and any degree of patient care, often abrupt and even rude on occasions. It is difficult to get an appointment, a patient would need to call the surgery st 8am prompt, to wait in the queue. There are very few appointments available via online booking. Then the GP’s, overall a rushed service, without any thorough clinical assessment being done. I was discharged from this practice, as I became so unwell that I was sleeping at nights of course, and 75% of the day too - and I missed appointments. I did realise after visiting several of the GP’s, that I found only 2 of the GP’s worth seeing. Unfortunately I cannot name the 2 GP’s who did provide a decent patient experience. When I called to complain to the practice, and explain my concerns, I was fobbed off and advised to collect a form. I have already complained online though, to explain my serious concerns about this practice.
"Worst overall NHS patient experience I have..."
