I had appalling treatment on Ward 42/43.Overdue procedure causing organ swelling/pain/jaundice and rapidly affecting liver further.
I have experienced a nightmare illness left to suffer with, in the hands of LRI. With 3 admissions on above ward, I am no further forward with my re-occurring symptoms.
Suffering from Chronic Autoimmune Hepatitis with PSC. It was known to the LRI I had multiple gallstones within my gall bladder and was advised by a member of the gastro team I needed my gallbladder removed as this would cause blockages with my bile ducts.
Advised a wait of 2 months to have surgery on my first admission which was end of Aug 18 I am still awaiting for a single piece of communication from the surgical team 3 and half months on.
I have re-occuring swelling of my gall bladder, loss of appetite, severe pain, and rapidly increasing my liver damage living with PSC.
