I was resently admitted to ward ward 206 Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where I underwent surgical intervention for Crohn's disease.
Part of my recovery was spent on ward 206 where all the nurses provided upstanding care. However one nurse Lyn stood out to me. She was really friendly, polite and professional and was able to read me like a book. She noticed when I was in pain and offered me analgesia without asking, she noticed when I was thirsty and poured me a drink. She was able to meet my unmet needs before I was myself aware. She was a pure asset to the nursing community, and Thank you .
