"Maternity Day Unit excellent"

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

I came into the MDU at 36 weeks to see if they could turn by baby who was breech. The midwives who booked us in and treated us were kind and calm and told us what was going on at all stages. The Doctors who then came to do the procedure were friendly and fully informed me of what was going to happen and answered my questions properly. The procedure was successful. The aftercare and discharge was very good, and we were fully informed of the next steps. Much better communication from staff than the Centre for Fetal Care at QC, where the reception staff are atrocious and barely even look at you, if you ask a question they basically grunt!
