About: St Georges Med Practice

My daughter attended recently to discuss very personal information - she came out of the appointment feeling dreadful. She states the Dr was looking at google for help , clearly had not bothered to look at he past medical history or I feel she might have handled things more sensitively

If she had looked at her PMH then she clearly has a lot to learn about people skills.

There was advice she could have given my daughter , and she cold have been more sensitive.

People should not leave the Drs surgery more traumatised than when they went in .

This is not the first time my family have been let down by this surgery

I am really sorry to hear that your Daughter felt this way after her appointment at the practice.

GP Registrars have a debrief with one of our GPs after each surgery and also receive training and feedback on their consulting skills either via joint surgeries or review of video surgeries.

Therefore, we welcome any feedback that can be constructively fed in to this learning.

I would respectfully suggest that this forum is not the best place to make comments like this, as we are unable to do anything about them.

If your Daughter would like to contact me at the surgery, I would be happy to discuss further so that we can properly address any issues raised.

Carol Wilson

Practice Manager
