This October I was out walking my Labrador. Being a rather boisterous puppy he came charging at me and cannoned into my left leg breaking my ankle in two places. My husband immediately took me to Borders General Hospital A & E Department. There I was dealt with quickly, efficiently and sympathetically. As my ankle was broken I was admitted to Ward 9 and operated on the following day. On the day before discharge I was transferred to Ward 16.
I can’t speak highly enough of the treatment and care I received from the staff in A & E, my Consultant, the Ward Sisters (is that what they are called these days?), the nursing staff, radiographers, porters , catering staff and anyone I might have missed.
They were all highly efficient, personable and helpful. I simply couldn’t fault them or the treatment I received.
I would like to pass on my thanks and gratitude to each and everyone of them.
