I really do not understand the negativity and complaints relating to, and regarding, the NHS.
Today I had an appointment at RHH and was met with helpful and considerate staff.
Everyone was very busy and there were numerous volunteers wheeling patients to various appointment - there was a sense of efficiency, helpfulness and caring in the air.
I would like to give an example of my recent NHS experience:
LESS than 2 WEEKS ago, i visited my doctor's office for a flu shot and whilst there discussed a sore which would not heal.
He immediately put me on the fast track system and today i saw a consultant at RHH.
My appointment was on time, the consultant and his nurse, were very efficient and helpful and i was told in kind and detailed terms what the next step would involve.
I am now scheduled for surgery.
I defy any system, anywhere, to better this....
I am delighted to see, according to the Daily Mail, that thousands of kind, considerate people have signed up as volunteers to the NHS and their local hospitals.
Let's help the NHS and
Russells Hall Hospital and not criticize this wonderful service which is the envy of the world.
