I was 3 minutes late for my appointment.

Sat there a further 20 minutes waiting yet go had ordasisity to ask me to be on time next time.i have sat there for almost an hour before today. Horrible Dr my appointment was 28/11/18 disgraceful Dr yet receptionist said they allow 5 minutes. Not happy contacing ombudsman.

I am sorry you feel this way and have the need to write on our page. The practice has a policy on giving up to 10 minutes to be late then it is at the discretion of the GP but unfortunately we have to have some rules as everyone will just turn up when they feel like and we are appointment based. As to the GP keeping you waiting I can only apologise again and unfortunately again it all depends on what the GP has had to deal with before your appointment slot sometimes patients need a little longer than 10 minutes due to treatment or sending patients to hospital which all take time.
