"This is really bothering me"

About: Chard Hospital

(as a service user),

I want to leave some feedback about the MSK physiotherapist and Podiatry in Chard.

Now, bearing in mind I have been waiting a considerably long time for an appointment here, I was upset to find I got a letter today, saying if I didn't reply by yesterday I would get removed from the service. This letter was dated as over two weeks ago.

Now I've been trying to ring them since half eight this morning, its now one fifteen and every time I get through the answer phone just says sorry we are busy, try again later. This is really bothering me.

Hello there,

I am so sorry to hear of your difficulties accessing our MSK and Podiatry service and that this has left you feeling very upset. We are experiencing very high levels of staff sickness in our booking office at the moment which is causing a lot of pressure on the phone system and understandably, leaving people like yourself who are trying to contact us, feeling frustrated and concerned.

Please be assured that you won't be removed from the system and do keep trying the number. Alternatively, if you are still having problems, please call the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01278 432022 - you can leave a message or speak to them and they will get in touch with the service for you.

We are really sorry that this has caused you to worry.
