"Very happy mummy!"

About: St Mary's Hospital (Melton Mowbray)

I had my youngest baby here back in February 2018 the staff were brilliant was all very friendly and helpful. I also came to Melton after having my eldest child sadly I wasn’t able to have my eldest child here but I was able to move straight here after giving birth I was a younger mum at the time so baring that in mind it was quite scary for me but the staff was so helpful and supportive if I ever needed anything they would be straight there to help. Both times iv had a brilliant experience and I would highly recommend this birth centre to any expecting mothers. Back in February when I had my baby they was trying out a new thing so babies dad/partner can stay with us which was lovely so they don’t have to miss out on a single second and having that extra pair of hands there to help made a big difference after being so tired from Labour and also so he can learn how to help/support me with breast feeding. I’m still breastfeeding now with out the help and support from the midwifes I probably wouldn’t be still right now after all it isn’t as simple as you think at first. If I have another baby I’ll definitely be returning to st Mary’s birth centre. Thank you to all the staff for making my pre birth, Labour and after care experience so nice, all staff should be very proud of them selfs as they are all doing a brilliant job.
