"Pre-op assessment of limited value to me"

About: New Victoria Hospital (Glasgow)

(as the patient),

I have had several surgeries and the pre-op assessment is of limited value for me. My information is unchanged, although I do understand the need to complete the activity and its value.

I am having surgery with a Dr I've never met before and would have liked to meet him, although I understand this will happen on the day of the surgery itself.

Very many thanks for your feedback.

The pre op assessment is an important part of the patient pathway, and although it sounds as though your appointments have been straight-forward, because your condition remainded unchanged, it is an important check point within the pathway.

Thanks again for your feedback. I hope your planned surgery proceeds uneventfully.

Paul
