"A&E treatment"

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road Campus)

I was treated at Moorfield's A&E for an issue I had initially seen a private ophthalmologist for at a private hospital in Harley Street.

This was not a big issue and should have been sorted in full, but obviously wasn't.

Subsequently, I started to develop pain in my eye that became so bad that on a Friday, I needed to seek help. Since I couldn't reach my private doctor, I went to Moorfield's A&E.

The waiting time was long - 4 hours from entering to leaving. Moorfield's should work on this.

The A&E consultant sorted the issue in full and I didn't even need to follow-up with my private doctor. The treatment as such was quick, the consultant was very polite and I knew he would help me and there wouldn't be any further problems.

In the future, if I have any issues with my eyes, I will seek help at Moorfield's, because in the end their A&E sorted the issue and relieved me from the pain I was in.
