My husband has been under the care of Mr Beveridge and his team for over 5 years now and has had three operations in total, the first of which when he was seriously ill.
The care he has received throughout from the whole team (and a special mention to the marvellous stoma nurses) has been excellent and he wouldn’t be here today without them.
We were consulted and kept up to date at all times and operations, when necessary, were done within a matter of two or three weeks with the consultant coming to see him every day on the ward afterwards.
We cannot praise this team highly enough and if anyone else is unlucky enough to get bowel cancer, rest assured you will be given the best care possible to get you fighting fit again, as my husband is now - he was given only a slim chance five years ago!
