pleasant environment - very short waiting time - seen before due time. Easy to find department

What could be improved

an initial visit to visitors WC put me off - smelled awful and not clean - would avoid at all costs.

Had to visit Cardiology 4 times for raft of tests - meaning 4 x60 mile round trips in less than a month. Have yet to see a doctor - all tests done by nurses or others? Can appreciate it is better to have test results before seeing doctor but here I am four months since first getting an initial appointment and still no results or appointment for doctor. If I had something serious (which I am presuming I don't) this would be a lot of time lost. With some careful reorganisation it should be possible to undertake all tests in one day - seeing a doctor at the end (ala Frenchay Breast cancer approach). It would appear that the emphasis is on getting people locked into the system (to meet a target?) rather than treating the customer in the most appropriate way. Thankfully I am not working or it would not be only the cost of the petrol!
