The mental health team have refused to see me, I don't know why, and at this stage I don't care. My GP has been really supportive, he wants me to get help so he referred me to counselling, which seems like exactly what I need right now - but they have refused to see me, saying I am still under the mental health team.
I have been trying to explain to the Talking Therapies service that I am not under the mental health team so I can get the help I need, but I just can't get through to them. I've called and called but there is no answer, I have left messages but they are never returned. It ain't like I'm asking for a million pounds, I just want to see my daughter, and with Christmas coming up, facing that without her is hard.
I don't know where to turn, I've gone down every avenue, I've been doing everything asked of me, I'm seeing my GP every week, my priest two or three times every week. No matter what I do, I feel no one is willing to help me. I think its disgraceful. There are people out there being offered help and refusing it, and here I am asking for help, just trying to get better to see my daughter, and I can't get any. I feel that there's no justice. My support worker told me to try feeding back on Care Opinion
"All I want is to get better so I can see my daughter"
