"Brain swelling"

About: Warrington Hospital

I recently had a stay at the hospital due to swelling in my brain, obviously tests were ran to rule out brain tumours and bleeds which was extremely distressing but the medical staff were so caring and lovely during this time that they put me at ease.

I had to stay on wards A1&A2 and both wards had extremely lovely members of staff who catered for my every needs, calmed me down when needed and provided and excellent standard of health care during my time here.

The doctors who conducted my lumbar puncture were very patient, helpful and caring and put me in the best place possible despite the distress I was feeling when told I needed to have it done. I cannot thank the hospital staff enough and hope they know that even though they’re under appreciated, understaffed underpaid and over worked - they are the best people I could ever wish to meet.

Thank you so much!!
